Pagan Osborne is a leading legal, financial and property specialist, operating from five offices, across Fife and Edinburgh.

We’re here to offer the choices you need to navigate the important stages in life - such as marriage, retirement and buying and selling a property.

Every client benefits from our personalised and integrated approach - simplifying the business of planning for the future.

People
With nine partners and over 140 members of staff, the firm is run by chief executive Alistair Morris.

Pagan Osborne is a firm rich in specialists, including four accredited specialists, unique for a firm of our size. This qualification means you are getting expert advice of the highest calibre; only 400 of Scotland’s 10,000 solicitors share this distinction.

Management
Thanks to a separate management board, our legal, financial and property experts can concentrate on the only subject that really matters - our clients' needs.

They are not distracted by the daily pressures of assisting in the management of the firm or becoming involved in side issues.

Looking after our people and our clients
It might sound obvious, but the only way we can offer you exemplary service is by attracting - and retaining - the best people.

That is why we have created a forward-looking employee development benefits programme - as well as other initiatives, such as our employee forum.

History
Originally established 250 years ago, Pagan Osborne is anything but caught in the past. In fact, the one true constant over the centuries has been change.

For example, we established the first dedicated property centres in Scotland. We were the first law firm approved as PEP Managers. And we were the first to create an Independent Financial Services facility.

It’s no accident that many other solicitors in Scotland have followed our lead.

Expanding our base
Although we have clients across the entire UK - and pride ourselves on a truly nationwide service - Pagan Osborne has always been strongly linked to Fife.

With long-established offices in Anstruther, Cupar and St Andrews, in 2004 we took the decision to expand our base to Edinburgh. To do this, we acquired the private client, agriculture and property divisions of a long-established Edinburgh-based solicitors - Ketchen & Stevens WS.

The following year, the private client team at Edinburgh commercial property firm Bell & Scott joined, and this position was further strengthened from a pioneering partnership whereby Bell & Scott carry out commercial property and corporate work for Pagan Osborne's clients.

Then in 2006, one of Scotland’s leading family law teams joined our Edinburgh office.

The result? Our Edinburgh office is now firmly rooted in the firm's success - demonstrated by our continued growth in the city.
