An OEIC is an open ended investment company.

Why choose an OEIC? It's quite simply one of the easiest forms of investment available, and works by pooling the money from many investors. It then invests this money in a broad range of investments. The diversity of investments is the key - and is greater than individual investors could achieve on their own.

Invest in an OEIC and you will receive shares in the OEIC, in proportion to the amount you’ve invested.

How will we invest your money?
An OEIC can contain lots of sub-funds. These sub-funds can each invest in a particular specialist area - such as gilts or equities.

At the moment we offer one sub-fund - the St Andrews Asset Managers Balanced Fund. It’s designed to offer a balance of capital and income growth.

The investments held in the sub-fund are diverse, and include UK equities, bonds, government securities and collective investment schemes.

How much do I need to invest?
The minimum lump sum investment is £500. There is also a minimum monthly savings scheme of £50.

Who can invest?
We’ve designed the sub-fund to appeal not only to private investors, but also to trusts, pension funds and charities.
