Scotland’s leading legal, financial and property specialists is hosting a seminar for charity bosses.
The event will be held at the Botanic Gardens in St Andrews on Thursday June 24 at 6pm.
Fiona McDonald, a partner at the firm, will give advice on trustee’s duties and solicitor Audrey Dishington will talk about safeguarding charities. Martin Tyson of the OSCR will talk about charity reorganisation and Rhona Wark of Bell & Scott will explore employment issues.
Fiona McDonald said: “The ongoing effects of the recession have meant the strain on charities is higher than ever before. There is less in the way in donations, however demand, for many, has soared.
“This seminar will give charities practical, legal and business advice on what they can do to survive and prosper. We will also give general management advice which, in the long-term, will prove invaluable to these organisations as they go forward.”
