Pagan Osborne is celebrating the success of its rising stars after this year’s Law Awards of Scotland.
Trainee, Audrey Dishington and associate, Fiona Mcdonald both picked up awards at the prestigious ceremony in Glasgow on 13th September, confirming that a new generation of legal experts is making a significant impact at the forward thinking firm.
Fiona won the award for Up and Coming Lawyer of the Year, an accolade that rewards her growing reputation as an expert in her field. Audrey was the 2007 Law Awards Trainee of the Year.
Fiona covers a broad spectrum of work, advising clients on a variety of matters including tax planning, trusts, charity law, wills, incapacity and executry administration and has authored legal text books and articles. Her performance, attitude and personality have gained her the respect and trust of her colleagues and clients.
In the last 12 months, she has consistently provided outstanding service to clients, using her exceptional technical knowledge to offer bespoke solutions. Every response is tailored to her client’s particular circumstances and always delivered in an empathetic and professional manner.
Audrey is the 2007 Law Awards of Scotland Trainee of the Year for the vast contribution she makes to development of Pagan Osborne’s services and for her sheer enthusiasm. Audrey’s dedication to become a solicitor after a career in sales management is evident in all she does. She strives to be innovative in her approach and as a member of the St Andrews Operatic Society and an office bearer at the local Community Centre is taking her new skills into the community.
Alistair Morris, Chief Executive at Pagan Osborne one of Scotland’s leading legal, financial and property specialists, is delighted for them. He said:
“In a relatively short space of time, both Fiona and Audrey have made a hugely positive impact on the firm. It is particularly heartening to see the next generation of lawyers getting the recognition they deserve and I am delighted for them. We believe in being forward thinking and ready to embrace new ideas and both Fiona and Audrey are an inspiration to us all.
