Legal, financial and property specialists Pagan Osborne once again celebrated its employees’ achievements when it hosted its annual in-house Excellence Awards last Friday (7th December 2007).

Inspired by Pagan Osborne’s HR team and now in its third year, the coveted awards were presented to the firm’s most promising property negotiator, a dedicated member of its finance team and two of the firm’s leading teams.

The firm’s Rural and Business Team proved it was the cream of the crop winning the much sought after accolade of Team of the Year for its enthusiasm, commitment and professionalism in agricultural law. The team’s award also reflects its success in this year’s Legal 500 ranks in which it was placed third.

Recognition was also given to one of the firm’s personal development teams, comprising of Kath Donaldson, Linda Black, Tracy Cumming and Jennifer Lowry, which scooped the Chairman’s Special Award for services to in-house training. The team champions the programme ‘Steps to Excellence for Personal Success’ (STEPS) throughout the firm.

Individual recognition was given to Audrey Gaul, a property negotiator, who received the Rising Star of the Year award for her outstanding ability in the property field and her commitment and dedication over the last twelve months. And, the top honour, Colleague of the Year, went to Mhairi Ovenstone of the Finance Team who was recognised by colleagues for her professionalism, her pivotal role within the finance team and going the extra mile for clients.

The winners of this year’s Pagan Osborne Excellence Awards are:

• Team of the Year – Rural & Business
• Chairman’s Special Award – STEPs Team

A highly commended award was also presented to the firm’s Property Letting team.
