About
Pagan Osborne is one of Scotland’s leading legal, financial and property companies.
With offices in Edinburgh and across Fife, the company is a forward looking and modern business that deals with the management and protection of personal wealth, property and other financial assets or possessions.
It brings together legal services, financial and tax expertise and estate agency for individuals, families, charities and privately held small, rural and family businesses, because all decisions in these matters are interlinked.
A limited company, Pagan Osborne is headed by chief executive, Alistair Morris, supported by a management board and over 100 members of staff. The company also operates a number of strategic partnerships with other leading organisations.
The company holds Investors in People accreditation, has achieved 1 Star Status in Best Companies Accreditation and has won a number of legal and business awards including the 2011 Legal Awards for Private Client Team of the Year and Colin Clark for Specialist Lawyer of the Year and at the 2009 Legal Awards won Firm of the Year, Property Team of the Year and Paralegal of the Year accolades.
Pagan Osborne supports the Childen's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS): the company’s adopted charity since 2012.
Background
Pagan Osborne has a long heritage. First established as a traditional law firm in the eighteenth century, it has expanded into estate agency, financial and commercial services over the past 35 years to create a company that offers a more comprehensive view on the personal and business matters that concern today’s clients.
Growth has been achieved organically and through acquisition. The company pioneered the creation of property centres and embraced investment services before its competitors. Its acquisitions have included law firms Ketchen & Stevens in 2004 and Robson McLean in 2009.
It now also operates a number of strategic partnerships with complementary organisations including Brewin Dolphin, Digby Brown and Towry to deliver further depth and breadth of expertise to clients.
It became a limited company in 2010.
